Review: Jane Carter Solution® Healthy Hair
The Jane Carter Solution® Healthy Hair is a hair care line that features Maracuja Oil, Sunflower Oil, and complex lipids that helps to rejuvenate and soften hair. This review is of the entire product line sans the Cleansing Conditioning CoWash. I used this line to style my hair in a twist and curl style which can be found here. These products can be found at Target, Vitamin Shoppe, and JaneCarterSolution.com.

Jane Carter Solution® Renewable Difference Detox Shampoo
Rating: 5 out of 5 | Retail Price: $11.00 for 8 oz. | pH: 6
Product Claim: A gentle cleansing shampoo that removes product build up and mineral build up as a result of hard water. Color-safe and leaves hair soft and manageable.
Ingredients: Water/Agua/Eau, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionat, Sodium Methyl Oleoyl Taurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, Polyquaternium-7, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane Extract) (Extrait de canne à sucre), Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Polyquaternium-10, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum/Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid
This shampoo is rich and high-lathering with a fresh scent. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only was the sulfate-free shampoo clarifying, but it is also chelating! It left my hair squeaky clean, so I’d recommend using it only once a month, especially if you have hard water. I like to use it on the length of my hair only as shampoos like these tend to cause dandruff on my scalp. Nonetheless, it’s a great and effective detoxifying shampoo.
Ingredients: Water/Agua/Eau, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetyl Esters, Shea Butter Ethyl Esters, Passiflora Incarnata Seed Oil, Phospholipids, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Glycolipids, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Panthenol, Ceteareth-20, Stearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum/Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid
Jane Carter if you’re reading this, PLEASE make this deep conditioner in a bigger size! The Healthy Hair line in it’s entirety is excellent, but the Revive and Hair Masque is my absolute favorite. 🙂 If you have short hair, then you may get up to 5-6 uses out of the 6 ounce jar. For me, I get 2 uses, 3 if I’m lucky. The masque in conjunction with the Complex 4 Replenish & Repair Oil is a hydrating and rejuvenating duo. I love how the masque effortlessly glides through my hair and soaks in so easily. My hair feels replenished from the inside out after using it.
Jane Carter Solution® Slumber Party Leave-In Conditioner

Leave-In Conditioners in a spray bottle are usually a turn-off for me because of the stream of product that the nozzle gives and oftentimes the product is subpar. The spray nozzle is meh, but the product is so hydrating. It’s great to use on wet hair right after deep conditioning, but I especially love it as a daily moisturizer as it softens my hair and keeps it hydrated for days. I’m not one to really moisturize my hair often throughout the week, but I found myself constantly reaching for the Slumber Party Leave-In Conditioner. It easily penetrates into the hair and doesn’t cake or leave a residue like many moisturizers. If you tend to have really dry hair, give this leave-in a try.
Ingredients: Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Phospholipids, Glycolipids, Shea Butter Ethyl Esters, Passiflora Incarnata Seed Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Parfum/Fragrance
I’m one of those naturals that don’t care that much about oils. I’d rather have them mixed in my hair products. But this oil…Hunty…I’m in LOVE! This oil is so light (non-greasy) and smooth. It’s great as a sealant and especially effective when combined with the Revive and Repair Mask. Though I haven’t tried it yet, the glycolipids and phospholipids in this oil makes me think that it’ll be awesome as a hot oil treatment. It’s also great as a body oil…don’t judge.

I don’t really care for blowout creams, but this Frizz Free Styling Smoother has forever changed my mind. My hair was extremely soft after blow-drying with this product! I usually opt for silicone heat protectants, but this cream works just fine. This product is also awesome as the cream in the LOC Method. And yes, it definitely minimizes the frizz. If you have curly hair, you may be able to use this for definition.
There are usually a few products in a product line that my hair doesn’t like. But with this Healthy Hair Line, my hair loves every single product. I think that this line was impeccably put together. The ingredients are high quality, the products perform well, and you can’t beat the price with a stick. This line will definitely continue to be a part of my hair regimen.
